November 6, 2016 - Still a very nice wine. It was well kept in a temperatured wine cellar. It has to be drunken nie.

February 14, 2014 - Very good wine. Unespected. Color beautiful. Nose: very harmonical. Cassis, Flowers Tast. Much soft tannins. But also fruit is there. I have read the tastingnotes from the others. I can not believe it. I think this wine is in 2014 better than the 1988 and the 1990. This wine can another 5 years I think.

December 28, 2011 - Very good in 2011 with guinea hen, but lacking fullness

September 10, 2011 - A little bit of action on the nose, but on the palate, not much happening. Drink up. Probably too late, if my bottle was indicative.

February 28, 2011 - Gift from Chateau owner family, put to sleep in cellar in 1999. 12 years later, the wine displays light violet centre, fading at the edges with some evidence of maturity but hardly brick brown. Nose is at first numb, some bottle stink, a hint of cedar and blackcurrant. Over 60 minutes some deeper fruit evolves but it remains essentially light and subdued on the nose. Palate is medium bodied, bordering on light, betraying vintage and alcohol (12%). Some hints of blackcurrant, good acidity, and fading tannins. Still balanced but not complex and over the hill. The 94' clarets continue to disappoint me; their mean streak in youth did not mellow with age.
