March 25, 2023 - PHMG WAG: Cellar Overflow (Down Stream at the Lyon's): 2+ hour double decant. This was a very impressive wine, showing a bit more stern than the Hall before it (ok, it's younger...). Cassis, blackberry, wet stone, and spice notes in a muscular package. WA first growth with Quilceda Creek, DeLille, Leonetti and Woodward Canyon. Now- 2030.

May 3, 2022 - PnP...maraschino cherry, dried fruit, forest floor, licorice/anise/absinthe and piney menthol. Tannins are still fairly dry, but I have full faith they will soften over a few days. What a nose, though! It's almost as much fun sniffing it as drinking it, when the blueberry component expresses itself (day 1, that is.) And still, there is a good amount of acidic lift...I hardly know what to say about this Cab. It's not so full of MEAT profile; it's more versatile for food pairings. A winner! I should add, no hurry to open it either.

February 23, 2022 - Very happy with this wine. It has medium depth and medium fruit. Silky tannins that do not get in the way. Really pleasant and easy to drink. Not a powerhouse but extremely well made and true to this producer. Didn't need much of a decant and still enjoying 3 hours later.

August 9, 2020 - Fantastic wine. Bright red fruit and a touch of cassis and forest floor
