May 23, 2019 - Young fruit and minerals aromas upon open. Palate a bit subdued. After an hour when wine was less chilled, it really opened up and became quite impressive with intense aromas and bold, complex, tannic taste of minerals and dry fruit. I'm convinced good Assrytikos need breathing time (2 hours or more) and should be served at around 60 degrees in order to show what it can do. Had the bottle at Electric Roof Garden restaurant in Athens.

October 10, 2018 - Very much like its unoaked brethren but a little sharper, not as round and sweet, and with a bit of oak on the finish. 10 euro for a glass at Selene Mezze and Wine.
