December 31, 2023 - Easy 93, a beautiful bottle of white Burg in a sweet spot. Richness combined with electric energy, both taught and luxuriant....and just the right amount of 'struck match' reduction. I fell for PYCM through his 2017 BB, this is a memorable step up - I'm almost concerned that my expectations can't be realised as I ascend the hierarchy of his wines. This is also a serious QPR bottle of Chardonnay for under £50. Outstanding +.

November 14, 2023 - 67PM with Roger + friends (67 Pall Mall): On drinking my last bottle a year ago I noted that this wine had entered its peak window, and this bottle was certainly 'in the zone'. A beautiful combination of lemon/lime and gentle, sophisticated reduction on the nose. Piquant on the palate, but the acidity is now perfectly integrated, creating an appetising wine that cossets as well as refreshes. I would be happy drinking this every day!

June 3, 2023 - The nose has a lovely pear skin quality as well as a charming lime blossom note and a little smokiness. Given how reductive these can be it was decanted for an hour before broaching and improved over the evening. Palate has a beautiful wet stone minerality, gorgeous acidity and, ten seconds after swallowing, a gorgeous lime juice caress for the tongue. First of six. Has plenty in the tank to my palate. Cracking.

March 22, 2023 - Coravin glass from 1 of 3 purchased from a cellar sale. Creamy texture but otherwise dull, flat and watery. Hoping it’s an off bottle but disappointing.

August 13, 2022 - So, so good. Has passed its difficult adolescent stage and now really joyous, with powerful lemon fruit, plentiful minerality, good drive - incredibly drinkable. A few bottles left, not sure if it's worth keeping the others any longer...

July 26, 2022 - This is in a good place now as most of the reduction has burned off leaving a refined, complex white with notes of lemon peel and nutty spices. Lighter-bodied with firm acidity and lovely mineral notes on the finish. So well made...

June 4, 2022 - AH and Crew Ride Again: Blind. Orange, toast, mint and white florals on the lifted and fragrant nose. Oak is well integrated, playing well about the medium bodied fruit. Balanced and drinking really well already.

March 29, 2022 - This is drinking well. The nose has some fennel tops, lemon, tangerine and flint. It is dense, compact and linear, with good minerally detail and chalky structure. Aniseed spice and salty lemon notes linger.

December 9, 2021 - Was really nice and always impresses. Mersault like on the nose but lemon cream in the palette
