December 29, 2023 - Medium to dark ruby in the glass, with definite bricking to light garnett.
Nose: immediately picking up game / roast meat (pork? Venison?). A touch of cigar box and vanilla from oak. I get a sense of fading ripe black fruit, mainly plum and some blackberry. Eucalyptus or mint as well. A whiff of Brett funk.
Palate: ok, there is the Brett :) but I don't mind a bit of funk. The fruit is more tart now. The tannins are resolved and pleasant. Decent complexity and length. I really enjoy this. I think the acid is a bit strong, but that could just be my mouth right now. 91-92 from me.
Drinking nicely but has some years left. -

May 13, 2023 - Wow, this was in perfect form, see note below. We gave it 3+ hrs in the decanter and it was amazingly harmonious, dark but also bright, graphite but also supple, a touch funky but utterly beautiful. I wish i had more aged Bandol like this!

April 13, 2023 - Great wine list value. Similar to DTB. Smoky, dark fruit, leather, and earth. Round wine with a lovely texture and finish. Age treated this well.

January 10, 2019 - Monthly Tasting at Wine Wizards (Wine Wizards Stockton): Not the typical rustic wine, more mint and fruit. Very chewy in the mouth, good acid balance and the flavors are intriguing but at $36 not intriguing enough.
