Off dry, but kind of a full feel

October 26, 2019 - Pale straw. Nose has fresh pear and honeysuckle. Palate has a very nice initial attack and then settles down into the finish. Quite nice acidity. Medium weight. A very fresh, zippy wine with some creamy fresh pear, kiwi, green aple and lime. Nice length. Good qpr.

December 26, 2018 - I had two bottles of this Spreitzer Kabinett over the last 6 weeks.
Both were quite awful in the nose - overripe fruit and an underlying musty smell.
If you managed to avoid breathing in while drinking, the wine was rather full bodied and tasted very much like clear apple juice. While this is not necessarily a bad flavor, it is not what I'm looking for when opening a bottle of Riesling.

June 21, 2018 - Bright, autumnal fruit with notes of pear and even apricots. rich wine, with a serious mid-palate and a long finish. It will really reward a few years of patience.

June 19, 2018 - Ripe, firm fruit. Great balance & acidity. Yellow orchard fruit, & some Rheinfront earthy/herbal/fruity spice.
    Medium+ intensity. A perennial top QPR year-in, year-out for me in Riesling-World. (91+)
