August 22, 2023 - Popped and pour a drink in great
February 5, 2023 - Deep ruby. Raspberry, cherry and plum on the nose. Smooth on the palate. Slightly acidic. Cherry, plum, raspberry and fig on the palate. Tart, medium finish.
August 13, 2022 - Pleasant nose upon open and swirl in the glass. Decanted in a wide body decanter and a little air and time produced a velvety texture with a medium to long finish. Dark plum with black cherry on the palate and a little dry. Getting hints of graphite along with wet stone. Serving with smoked tri-tip at the end of a warm day. Nothing spectacular, and would not go out of my way to buy this wine again. Would buy it again if it was at a good price.
April 30, 2022 - Deep ruby color. Good balance between fruit and minerals. Decent QPR. Worth revisiting for < $13.
April 10, 2022 - The last of 3 bottles purchased on Wine Slash. I wasn't gob smacked but really hard to find something that is good at this price point ($17). Very nice nose and follows through with plum, smoke, dark berries, mid-palate slight tannins with a med to short finish. Interesting enough to keep you happy and still smooth although not entirely well-integrated. Definitely not a fruit bomb which pumps up a point. I would buy again. Holds up on the 2nd day but doesn't improve.
February 20, 2022 - Decent QPR, but probably won’t buy again
February 15, 2022 - A WineBid pickup that I don't ordinarily see retail. Very solid and interesting from the consistent Sebastiani cellar. Showed Cali Bordeaux blend notes of black currant, fig, plum puree.
January 25, 2022 - Enjoyable Bordeaux blend: PnP, inviting nose, strawberry and black cherry notes on the palate, medium finish. $15 at Costco.
Paired nicely with plant burgers.
October 3, 2021 - Drinks ok. Lots of cherry, sour fruit, raspberries, strong fruit up front. Some must. Doesn’t really linger, dies quick, not a ton of body. Medium acidity.
