April 11, 2023 - Delicious, complex Tawny. Hard to stop drinking it! But must at 20°
November 2, 2022 - Purchased for $23 and tasted for #tawnytuesday. Cloudy burnt ruby in color. This was bottled in 2015 and I learned that cloudy Tawnies usually are a sign that they've been in bottle for over 2 years. Check on this one. Nose of caramel, fig and maple sugar candy. On the nose, mostly all caramel with some hazelnut notes. This is not as sweet as others, despite that maple sugar candy note on the nose. More of a dry style. Slightly shorter finish than one would like. Grade: B+

September 10, 2021 - {bottled 2016, 500ml, cork, 20%} Golden brown. Mature nose of figs and caramel, wood and white pepper. The palate follows along, seemingly very alcoholic and fumey, wood-dominated, with some of those spice and nut flavours in the background. Sits very much on the front of the tongue, with a warm, medium-dry sort of finish. It’s not bad, but not something you’d seek out.
August 29, 2021 - Always one of my favorite Tawny Ports. I enjoy the 10 year over the older versions. I recently tasted a 2013 bottling and this was the 2020 and both were fantastic.
