May 18, 2019 - An incredible wine, layered in inflection-changing substance, which features suggestions of Pomerol on the bouquet and palate. Seamless and superbly balanced. Notably young and time will certainly serve it well. Recommend holding for a decade or longer, to achieve maximum affect. It should evolve and hold through 2035-2040.

    May 9, 2019 - Light brick colour

Relatively tight aromatics at this point, earthiness under (potentially exuberant) dark fruit continuing to palate
Subtle acidity lingers a long time into raspberry notes on finish. Refined tannins in a medium weight beauty
One of most engaging and controlled HH to date

April 4, 2019 - This ranks among the prettiest and most balanced New World Bordeaux tributes that I have crossed paths with. It features a sublimity uncommon to the New World and puts the mind to Margaux in all regards.

The bouquet reflects purity of place and blend. The mouthfeel and handling bend the mind, and the finish has no understanding of 'quit'. A lightly sweetened coco powder-like dustiness graces the wine with textural intrigue. Enjoy bottles over the next year or two, or bury bottles in the cellar for seven to ten years+. Stunning! 95-97.
