November 25, 2021 - November 25, 2021. Drank from Bin East 23. In cellar since July 2019, $31.50. Thanksgiving at Wally and Pat. Oak floral nose. Dark yellow. Full body acid and oak, long dry finish. Bit past prime. 5/10.

Still a little waxy mouthfeel. Yellow fruit, oak emerging on finish on second day.

March 27, 2020 - I forgot how much I like this wine.
We had it with a apple cider marinated chicken and apple/cinnamon dish.
Lots of green apple with background of citrus. There is a little rich oiliness upfront but then acidity cuts right through. The first impression is how clean it is.
While good with the chicken it really was best afterwards on its own.1 person found this helpful Comment -
