Community Tasting Notes 4

June 14, 2019 - I really liked this. Reminded me of a premier cru Burgundy with a strong mineral backbone but rounded out with some Oregonian sun. Penetrating, long finish.

May 17, 2019 - Willamette Valley May 2019; 5/17/2019-5/18/2019: Slightly smoky, golden raisin notes on nose. Very neutral, in what I'm now calling the "Ceritas" style. Moderately acidic. Not my bag.

April 30, 2019 - Peach, melon, light vanilla/oak influence and mineral qualities on the nose. Between light and medium bodied with excellent upfront fruit, showcasing peach and apple with pear and melon towards the back. Lightly tart notes on the backside along with just a touch of vanilla and lingering mineral notes. Strength of this wine was the clarity of the fruit expression upfront and through the middle. It didn't have quite the depth that I expected, but the fruit really shines, if on a lighter frame. Drinking quite well at present and should remain at this level for another few years.

September 25, 2018 - At walk around tasting. Pale golden yellow color. Nice and refined cooler climate Chardonnay. Exhibited good amount of lemon and orchard fruit. Oak not overly prominent.
