February 19, 2021 - Fully mature. Soft, round and fulfilling St Julien. Not bad. Not bad at all.

March 1, 2020 - The wine was good

August 17, 2018 - Last one in the cellar. Glad I opened it starting to show age beyond elevation. Still lovely but more oak and less fruit focused than my previous notes. 11 years of age ability not bad performance for a unclassified BDX.

February 17, 2017 - Soft fruit dominated by a gentle spicy oak, this is velvet. The tannins are resolved but there the finish is gentle and firm. Lovely wine, not the most expressive Bordeaux, but definitely satisfying. Its aging peak was probably in last year but drink this year and you will still love it.

July 23, 2015 - Get me to an AA meeting, I drank an entire bottle tonight without help. Soft as a baby's bottom, with classic Bordeaux flavors, this wine was at its peak. So seductive and intense I had to finish the bottle. Not great, just excellent, it rekindled my love of classic Bordeaux, 13% and the iron fist in a velvet glove as my boss Robert used to say.
