September 24, 2020 - Super ripe fruit. And allot of wood on it as well.

September 23, 2020 - Who are these people? Located near Tavernelli. Producing wine since the 1950s. And there is some sweet oak on the nose. Smells like French oak and tastes like it too on the palate. Chocolate power. Everyone is say herbs but I smell lots of cherry.

March 7, 2020 - No rating. Surprisingly closed down last night. Even after a few hours and some aggressive decanting. Not resembling the bottle I had last year which I highly enjoyed.

September 27, 2019 - This wine is in a terrific place to drink. Fruit is vibrant. Tannins are smooth and mild. A joy to drink right now.

    November 26, 2018 - 93 - James Suckling:
Aromas of blackberries, blueberries and cherries with hints of walnuts. Some cedar, too. Full body, dusty tannins and a flavorful finish. Big and juicy. Tannic. Needs a couple years more to soften.

    93 - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
The 2012 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva offers plumpness and softness that you don't find as easily in the more acidic (and nervous) 2013 vintage. This vintage saw a warm and dry summer season, and those conditions tend to add more weight and textural heaviness to Sangiovese. This Riserva opens to a dark color and medium-rich concentration. The bouquet is fleshed out with red and purple fruit tones of cherry, plum and blackberry. The finish shows ample power and density.
