February 6, 2021 - Despite two international moves, this is very well preserved, good for a few years yet

Lighter than the big names, this has a supple smoothness that ends moderately fiery.

October 28, 2019 - not particularly long or deep, but exceedingly smooth and delicious

January 2, 2018 - I was pleasantly surprised to be impressed by this modest bottle of Port. Dark, sweet, brambly berries, anise, integrated leather and tobacco. Very dusty. It came across like a tuned-down version of Fonseca Vintage, a little softer and less concentrated, delightfully drinkable. Not built for the ages, but stored properly it's drinking great now and will for 15 more years.

    October 5, 2015 - From a 500ml bottle. A bit basic, akin to your average California port. Medium-full body. 20% ABV. 87-88

January 24, 2015 - Popped and poured. Consumed over two nights. I would say that this was at it's best right after opening. The first night had notes of candied date, cocoa powder and cinnamon. The alcohol was in perfect balance. On the second night, the wine had gotten much "hotter" and the cinnamon was the dominant aroma. Very broad mouth feel the entire time. Would purchase again.
