June 18, 2020 - This is by far one of my favorite affordable champagnes. I believe the use some oak in the aging which gives it a nice toasty flavor and nose with hints of candied honey and crème brûlée. This is not a sissy champagne but a full bottle of champagne for those that enjoy something more than citrus. I cannot wait until the 2008 is released.

November 16, 2009 - Very yeasty and straw-like flavors. very slight citrus flavors that only came in spurts for me. I thought that it was a bit unbalanced, although I can see why hardcore wine nerds enjoy this champagne. I perhaps prefer something a bit more accessible. It needed food and that changed the taste completely

FYI - not ideal tasting circumstances, so I admit I may be off ... we opened this a couple hours after my 3rd son was born in the hospital (plastic cups) ... so take this all with a grain of salt.

March 15, 2009 - Nice yeast and toast aromatics, hint of lemon. Nice full and rich mouthfeel, toast, hazelnut and some apple on the palate. Nice finish.
