December 11, 2022 - Side by side an utterly spellbinding young 19 Eche. The CdV17 stand-alone would have been a perfect hedonistic pleasure - great balance on nose and palate, pretty red fruits with just a smitten of astringency from the vineyard on the finish making it firmer than the Eche 19 which was a deliriously primary ballerina. I would hold this CdV for 10+ years and you should have a wonderful wine on your hands. 95+

June 21, 2022 - Musique & Vin Pre-Concert Dégustation (Château du Clos de Vougeot): Walk around tasting. Intense red fruits with savory spice and faint meat hints. Great Grand Cru density, wonderful finesse on long finish. A star of the vintage.

November 11, 2021 - Travels in Burgundy... A Few Wines During Meals; 11/7/2021-11/12/2021 (Burgundy): A real beauty with a complex array of red fruit and black cherry hints on nose and palate. Slightly meaty, more spicy with incredible brightness and balance. Glorious already with obvious upside.
