August 31, 2020 - Good on PnP, but really didn't show a good harmony until the two hour-open mark. That said, for my tastes, this needs a few more years to better integrate the wood, etc. Only moderately complex now, this three-grape blend consistently over-delivers its price point, but time is absolutely required. I'll wait five more years before opening the next one. 14,0% abv. drink 2024-33. recommended+

August 14, 2020 - Classic Italian red. Dark red color. Cherry fruit. Plenty of alcohol. Good depth and a medium finish. Just not my style.

June 16, 2020 - Pretty sexy robe on this, deep burnished ruby with garnet highlights. On nose élevage is quite present, with vanilla mixed with lots of juicy dark berries, cassis. With air a more red toned character emerges. Palate is medium bodied, tannins are smooth textured and there is a nice acidity holding along. On day 2 à pleasing cherry liquor note emerges on palate. Nice, but still my opinion that this is a little too glossy and ‘international’ in style for my taste

Palato: imbocco di discreta dolcezza, poi l’acidità prende piede. Ancora frutta rossa, ciliegia e mora, tannino in crescita.

Finale: media persistenza, tannino e discreta acidità. Mora, ciliegia e pepe nero.

    Valutazione: 85/100
