  March 7, 2024 - Zuni Cafe Chicken Night (Brad's Place, St. Paul, MN): Light gold color. Drank a couple glasses over an hour. Charles Heidsieck has been knocking ot out of the park with their NV cuvee's over the last few years. I'm seriously impressed by the definition and clarity, long and supple, toasty, pretty fruit, creamy texture, quite long. Loved it.

  March 7, 2024 - Brad's Winner Winner Zuni chicken dinner night. BB,KB,ML & I. Matt's btl. This was the "surprise of the night", for me. I've owned this in the past and been hugely disappointed. Tonight, this was sublime?!?! So good, that with Kevin pouring me a glass I was fooled into thinking it was his '14 Cedric Bouchard Roses de Jeanne "Côte de Val Vilaine". Once Matt dropped the btl on our appetizer table I realized I was mistaken. So, I reverted to looking for anything not to like based on my previous experience with the Charles Heidsieck :). And couldn't! Was I wrong in the past or was this just a great btl? Oh well, I thoroughly enjoyed this tonight!

  November 10, 2023 - Sthlm Food & Wine Champagne-tastings (Älvsjömässan, Stockholm): (Disgorged in 2023, base year 2018 with 25% reserves, 100% Chardonnay, dosage 8 gr/l)
  Light yellow colour with a greenish hue and a youthful nose showing chalk, minerals and lemon citrus notes and opens up with butterscotch in a very pleasant way. Creaminess on the lighter palate showing chalk and citrus acidity in a pleasant way.
  (Probably best with 3-8 years)
