March 26, 2023 - Medium ruby with a hint of garnet
Expressive bright spicy nose with tart sour cherry flavors.
This is juicy and quite nice

August 19, 2022 - From a 375ml - Wow. Vibrant ruby and ultra expressive on the nose. Fragrant strawberries, flowers, damp earth, and minerals all coming through. I could smell this for hours. On the palate it was soft, with velvety tannins, saline minerality with stewed and fresh red fruits, mushrooms, wet leaves, and fall spices. There was a touch of sharp acidity on the finish, bringing it together and adding clarity. Would absolutely rebuy.

January 27, 2022 - Medium ruby, hi-toned nose of strawberry, cherry, cranberry, and pomegranate on the first nose followed by undertones of earth and very subtle spice notes, round creamy fruit on the attack followed by layers of "crunchy" red berry fruit, medium acidity and mild tannins, finishes with primary red fruit, spice, strong "chalky" notes and touches of orange peel, and earth, from a 375ml

December 29, 2021 - While this does show an easy hand in the extraction department, the first thing I noticed was the sense of charred oak on the nose with lighter, high register fruit of pomegranate and orange scents with woodsmoke and a soy/bloody game type of savor in the mouth. Juicy and pliant and a bit low in acid and perhaps a bit high in alcohol? This should age just fine but the jury (me) is out today.

July 4, 2018 - Remoissenet Père et Fils Cellar Visit and Tasting (Day 11, Visit 3) (Beaune): Barrel tasting at Remoissenet. Red and black fruit come across as fun and well balanced, along with enough weight to hold. Very good for its level, 89-91 point potential.
