September 9, 2019 - Fine Vines Fall 2019 Portfolio Tasting (City Winery - Chicago IL): Walk-around tasting, brief note. Apple, lemon, lime aromas are fresh and lively. Similar flavors are bright and easy with a tart finish. Good now.

August 26, 2019 - Aligoté at Table, Donkey and Stick (Chicago, IL): No reduction (or oak) on the nose here; this is a less polished wine, but is definitely very good for the level and price. A hint of pineapple; but what is more prominent is the minerality and clarity here -- no off flavours or waxiness here.

September 4, 2018 - Dinner @ Alo (Alo - 163 Spadina Ave): Part of the wine pairings at Alo. Now the fourth time with this wine. It's a nice and easy one. Don't remember it standing out all that much, but it paired easily with the fish. No fruit to speak of. More of a grassland. Not overly green. Decent wine although not something I will seek out.

August 1, 2018 - Standard Alo dinner: Actually my second time with this wine as it was served last time I was at Alo as well. A Burgundian white that I don't mind. I esp appreciate the freshness to it. Almost like a cut grass but without the green notes.
