December 19, 2023 - Excellent cab Franc from Walla Walla Valley. Classic acidity with a nice leathery smell on the nose. Better after decanting for over 30 minutes.
August 8, 2022 - Decanted 45 minutes... drinking beautifully
March 25, 2022 - I think this vintage needs drinking. Seems a bit "faded." Still tasty though. Just not too fruity.
August 2, 2020 - tart cherry, viscious with a nice mouth feel
April 4, 2020 - nice tannin and secondary features, but tonight lacking enough fruit to make this a stellar wine for me.
December 19, 2019 - No decant needed, unless you enjoy the process. Ready to drink. Dark color, mild nose, rich taste right away. Like most wines, sip #2 is the money shot. As in a previous review, "never have had a bad wine from L'Ecole."
September 13, 2019 - Dark purple in color. Notes of black fruit, bell pepper, and licorice. Dry, med body, med acidity, elegant tannins. A great wine. Have not had a bad wine from this producer.
June 25, 2019 - tasty though a bit merlot like, light, low tannin
