February 17, 2019 - Remains very dark; some game & animally notes; backward, fulsome, robust. This remains a long way from full maturity. Impressive but.........
April 21, 2017 - This continues to develop at a snails pace. Modernistic. More impressive than enjoyable. Needs more time.
February 22, 2015 - Dark red, definetly gevrey, still nice decanted for 2 hrs and drank over 3hrs... Wonderful...some spice on palate, slight Carmel on front palate ... Black cherry perhaps...powerful and flavorable..nice wine
June 29, 2014 - Dark; rather reticent, plenty of depth & latent power. Can be enjoyed now but best left for a couple of years.
December 24, 2013 - Poured off a glass for an hour. Started off with a lot of cranberry. Became smooth and very fine- but a tad simple.
August 18, 2013 - Supple, rich but retains panache. Expressive, drinking well, now. No rush. Terrific.
May 11, 2013 - Solid 2002 Gevrey, very drinkable, I see no reason to wait . . .

February 21, 2013 - From half bottle - a great tasting experience of a wine that is drinking beautifully now. Fresh and interesting with a nice texture and an unidentifiable acid lift at the end (that enhanced rather than detracted).
