August 2, 2020 - bought en primeur, perfect mid-neck level and cork, great nose, rich, warm earth after rain nose, classic Pessac-Léognan, still amazingly vibrant and fragrant after 31 years, but with the acquired nuances, smoothness and complexity of age, palate equally good with excellent length, rich fruit but distinctly dry and still with marked tannin and acidity for the necessary structure hiding beneath, top example at its peak but this really can still hold at this level for decades

March 1, 2020 - TN fill. Klassisk moden BDX aroma med preg av blyant, skogbunn, kaffe, lær og sur-søt frukt. I munn har den integrerte tanniner og lett syre som følger ut i en medium lang avslutning. Det er fin sødme i frukten som fremdeles er fint tilstede, men er på vikene front naturlig nok. Hyggelig opplevelse med en vin som overgikk forventningene.
