January 6, 2024 - Still youthful. Some bricking. Nose cherries, rose, a bit of tar, some cranberry. cocoa, almond. Rocky minerality. Palate has great acid and mineral structure, supporting lifted red fruit. Some menthol underlying. Long, tannic, mineral finish. Mouthcoating/drying. Serious juice. Long finish.

September 28, 2023 - Garnet with tawny hints, low(+). Developed, medium(-) intensity. Starts a bit subdued, takes off day 2 and especially day 3. Then a fresh nose with red sour berries and floral notes. On the palate medium(-) acidity and tannins, the latter well grinded almost caressing, medium body, 12,5%. Flavours dominated by lingon-/cranberries with a perfumed touch. Some raisins arrive day three. Very good length. Finely textured, slender and austere with all the energy present day three.
Technical cork. From the back label: 100% Chiavennasca (nebbiolo) grapes from >50 year old vines, SE exposure, altitude 350-400 m. Harvested 17 Oct -16, yield 55 hl/ha. Maceration 90 days in wooden vats 50 hl. Aged six months in 50 hl big barrels (made of chestnut, oak and acacia), concrete, bottle. Released Feb -18.

December 16, 2022 - great with take n bake pizza night

December 13, 2022 - Cherry hard candy and mushrooms on the palate, mint, dust, and a medicinal tang to the nose. The midpalate is just a bit unfocused and underripe but this is a nice bottle of everyday nebbiolo.
