January 30, 2021 - Black cherries, blackberries, lots of spices. A lot of influence of oak; so its pretty mellow by Lagrein standards. Full bodied, rounded with nice tannins that are smoothed out from the oak. Good with steak and mushrooms.

Molto molto lontano dal "fratello maggiore" Riserva Castel Ringberg, che è decisamente di altra stoffa. -

December 15, 2018 - Very nice Lagrein. Lots of floral, fruity notes, plus a hint of chocolate. No reason to cellar - delicious now.
