February 9, 2024 - Medium ruby color with slow to medium legs. Raspberry, rhubarb cobbler, vanilla baking spices and wood on the nose. Palate confirms nose with an additional hint of chocolaty flavor. Med-med+ body. Med silky tannins. Med+ acidity, with a long luxurious finish.

February 5, 2024 - Decanter for 45-60 minutes and it was as good as the last bottle consumed over 2 years ago. Fabulous red fruits - cherry and rasberry in this medium bodied Pinot that has such a long and luscious finish. Remains one of the top wines in the collection and that I’ve consumed. Will hang on to the last bottle from this vintage as the newer vintages I have access to a high bar to surpass this one!

January 22, 2024 - Seems the wine might not have been stored ideally at some stage of its life, as this was already showing a tinge of oxidative influences. That said, it was delightful regardless.

Big lusty Pinot, even by KB standards. The nose was replete with dried fig and subtler port-wine aromas suggesting some oxygen contact. Plum, licorice, clove and an ephemeral whiff of black olive.

The palate is full-throated, rich and plush, with soft moderate tannin and light acid.

Possibly not a fair representation judging by past KB experience, but undeniably well-made even so.
