August 12, 2023 - Delicious wine. Lemon,pineapple, oak, a bit of orange. Delicious with some bottle age.
July 12, 2023 - Medium to rich yellow; nice rich nose, some peach; nice rich attack, lots of taste, quite powerful with sufficient acidity to keep it balanced; no “subtleties” or “extras” but straightforward nice
June 2, 2023 - Medium to rich yellow; fresh nose, buttercup, bit of honey; quite rich bold attack, almost too overwhelming, lots of acidity and power, do not look for finesse or gentleness here, it is smack in your face/mouth, power, lots of it and lots of taste, expressive, nothing spared - in this way it is actually quite good and for the right occassion the right choice; perhaps think outdoor barbercue on a slightly windy slightly cold day, where you need a powerful white to make an impression

October 30, 2022 - Ripe fruit and smoke aromatics. Viscous texture, rich, almost fat fruit flavor. Adequate acidity and good length. Possesses some mild warmth, but there so much going on it doesn’t get in the way.
September 26, 2022 - really at a good place now.
June 29, 2022 - Light medium gold color. Split bottle over 3 hours. The nose shows lemon, lemon pastry, acacia flowers, pineapple, cedar dust and subtle oak. The palate has impressive depth and power while still coming off restrained, tangy green apple, more subtle pineapple here, wet stone mineral notes and lemon, fennel, judiciously framed with toasted oak. Very good, excellent value. 92+ to 93pts.
May 20, 2022 - Despite the dark yellow "oxidized" look this was a delicious Chardonnay. Complex and brooding fruit. Drink or hold
February 4, 2022 - Big CA chardonnay. Oak dominates just about everything. B-
