July 4, 2019 - A nice find on Garagiste for less than $17. Poured into a chilling carafe. Appearance displays a medium lemon color, a bit surprising indicating ripening was not an issue in 2017; I would have expected the color to be much paler in hue. Youthful, probably a bit early for this and given the quality of the material, this should cellar and improve over a number of years. Medium plus aromas and flavors of light petrol, tart lime, green apple, ripe peach, juicy apricot, sweet nectarine, all underscored with salty slate and zippy acidity. Medium minus body and low alcohol. A mouthpuckering finish lingers for a while. Very good now, and should only improve with further cellaring.

April 29, 2019 - Typical in any given way. High acidity and freshness meeting slate on the palate. Bone-dry.

April 19, 2019 - tasty. nicely ripe, but with bracing acidity. apple, lemon fruit with some orange hints. probably would age for a long time, but plenty tasty now.

April 15, 2019 - This was great, especially at the price. Lovely German dry Riesling which I would not necessarily say is subtle, but isn't overdone either. Lovely slate, apple, and citrus. Easy to sip.

Garagiste can offer some pleasant but maybe unexciting wines; this is one of the better offerings I've bought (all things considered).

    March 10, 2019 - No detailed notes.
A raucous cacophony if limes, lemon zest and minerals on the nose and in the mouth.
Persistent acid from start to finish, mildly viscous with a lingering stony finish.
    Drink now and hold
