April 4, 2024 - Excellent wine. Chambolle-Musigny classic. Extremely fruity and dominated by cherry. Easy drinking. Tannins under control, velvety mouth feeling. Not that complex at the moment but expected to improve over time. Can definitely drink now but many years left in that cuvee. Crowd-pleaser and I like it... 92+

June 20, 2023 - Mid garnet. Bright with red fruit and a touch of orange peel, but also a vanilla sweetness that didn’t dissipate over the course of the bottle. Light red fruit, redcurrant and a twist of orange. Fresh, silky lacy, good acidity. Lighter than the Dujac MSD alongside, and more sharply focused. Suffers a little by easy comparison. ***1/2

June 25, 2022 - Deep cherry-tinged ruby. Denser fruit, rounded and plusher than a previous bottle from the case six months ago, and none of that one’s sense of emerging sous bois. Nicely mid to dark red fruited, densely silky, ripe fruit, quite plush. Holds well over a couple of days, starting to show more spine and cut after 24 hrs of aeration. Clearly some bottle variation at play, but this one very fresh and fruity. ****

February 11, 2022 - Lovey but perhaps not as great as the reputation of this domaine. I’ve had quite a few - perhaps 15-20 mixed bottles from this domaine and I’m not sure I agree with the hype.

January 8, 2022 - Ruby to brightest garnet. Starting to show a little autumnal interest around the red fruit. Quite soft and easy going before a more mineral line and some precise grip. Silky but crystalline. Not quite as full and rounded / complete as the Gevrey, but true to the terroir and a lovely drink. Time in hand. ***
