July 27, 2020 - Fully developed and drinking at its peak. Acidity slightly starting to fade and the tertiary aromas are dominant at this point. Clearly a good wine but not my style

Briljant! 50 + Kleur: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 12 + Smaak / Afdronk: 17 + Algemeen / potentieel: 9 = 93/100

Color: Pale yellow Aroma / bouquet: Beautiful bouquet that differs significantly from the bottle I tasted on November 29, 2019. That wine was tertiary and was characterized, among other things, by tones of Sherry. This wine appears considerably younger. Fresh bouquet with notes of lime, flint and pineapple acids. Taste / Aftertaste: Fresh and sour-salty start. Filling the mouth, refreshing, very concentrated. Retronasal impressions of lime and pears. Brilliant Pouilly-Fumé with a beautiful long and complex finish. General / potential: A Pouilly-Fumé that still combines vitality and freshness with complexity after 15 years. Brilliant! 50 + Color: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 12 + Taste / Finish: 17 + General / potential: 9 = 93/100

February 12, 2020 - Quince and grapefruit on nose. Oak is upfront but not overpowering. Notes of tropical fruits and lime with good acidity. Good effort for a Sauvignon Blanc that isn't typically as well liked.

December 8, 2019 - Chez MG: Elderberries, mineral, long, very good.

50 + Kleur: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 12 + Smaak / Afdronk: 17 + Algemeen / potentieel: 8 = 92/100

    Google Translate:

Color: Pale yellow Aroma / bouquet: Impressive and complex bouquet. Mineral, notes of lime and grapefruit. A hint of sherry that emphasizes the clearly tertiary nature of the bouquet. Taste / Aftertaste: Fresh, sour and soft salty starts. Filling the mouth and refreshing. Retronasal impressions of lime, baguette and sherry. Long aftertaste. General / potential: Incredibly impressive, interesting but completely atypical Pouilly-Fumé that still stands upright after 14 years. 50 + Color: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 12 + Taste / Finish: 17 + General / potential: 8 = 92/100

(Didier Dagueneau Pouilly-Fumé Pur Sang) Cat pee, white flower, lime, tart gooseberry nose; tart citrus, tart grapefruit palate with medium acidity, but thin on mid-palate, nowhere near as tasty as a couple years back, before the fruit dropped out; medium finish (another data point for the need to drink up Dagueneaus in their first few years--none of the ones I've ever had with four or more years of age have worn their age at all well)

(Didier Dagueneau Pouilly-Fumé Pur Sang) Very light yellow color; big herbal, grass, mint and mineral nose; big, mouthfilling, tangy but light-footed tart grapefruit, minerals and tart white peach palate; medium-plus finish
