February 17, 2019 - Lots of lemon and green apple with plenty of cut grass. Very big and dense with a very long, borderline tart finish. Hard to imagine, but I think this still needs more time.

July 21, 2018 - Somewhat cloudy. Nice nose of cat pee and minerals. Lovely palate of minerals, grass and a hit of grapefruit. Enjoyed by several serious imbibers.

July 7, 2018 - Occasional dinner group: Magnums chosen by Kenny (@ Invincible in Antwerp, Belgium): Minerals, nuts, oaky impressions, good citrus acidity, good length. Beautiful wine.

June 8, 2018 - [Magnum] Fresh and grassy nose, pineapple, lemongrass, Inca Cola. Big projection. Palate is lush and round and straightforwardly delicious with white orchard fruit, and with nice minerality and sufficient acid. Very expressive aromatics, great nose. That’s got to be one of the best Sauvignon Blancs I’ve ever had.

October 7, 2017 - Regular dinner group (By JvT @ Fitzgerald): Focused wine with a lot of minerals and firm acidity. Grasses, some bitterness and a bit reductive, but overall a concentrated and beautiful wine.

(Didier Dagueneau Pouilly-Fumé Pur Sang) Cat pee, white flower, lime, tart gooseberry nose; tart citrus, tart grapefruit palate with medium acidity, but thin on mid-palate, nowhere near as tasty as a couple years back, before the fruit dropped out; medium finish (another data point for the need to drink up Dagueneaus in their first few years--none of the ones I've ever had with four or more years of age have worn their age at all well)

(Didier Dagueneau Pouilly-Fumé Pur Sang) Very light yellow color; big herbal, grass, mint and mineral nose; big, mouthfilling, tangy but light-footed tart grapefruit, minerals and tart white peach palate; medium-plus finish
