  Nose of dark fruit, tobacco, maybe a touch of cola? Smooth, not noticeably alcoholic, more satisfying and complex than a $10 blend, I'd still like to see it around $12.

  May 8, 2007 - I find this wine to be a darn good deal. Great color and nose of cherry, dark fruits and subtle spice. The palate is much the same but with a bit more spice and earthy wood notes. Well integrated with a nice finish that lingers longer than I would expect for this wine. I've really enjoyed both times I've had it....once with a great meal and one on it's own.

  December 23, 2006 - This was not a bad wine, but it was more than I would pay. The nose had some nice black currant, cherry, and plum fruit, mixed with some vanilla. The palate had the same fruit, plus spice and oak. The tannins were good and so was the finish.
