    May 25, 2020 - Unexceptionable. Very dry. Flat and “thin” mouthfeel.

    December 10, 2019 - Decanted for about an hour, no sediment noticed. Weak nose with a light hint of cherries, this wine has no structure, it's weak with no noticeable fruit. In short, this wine is insipid and is nothing special.

    June 2, 2019 - Walk Around of Medal Winners from ’19 San Diego Int’l Wine Challenge (Coasterra (Cohn Restaurant Group), San Diego, CA): "85-90% Sangiovese, with a selection of traditional Chianti Classico varietals" harvested @ 23.5°Brix; Fermented in temp-controlled s/s tanks @ 25-30 degrees centigrade for 7 days, malolactic within the next 2 mos, ff'd by 3 mos of barrel aging; 13.3% ABV, 0.7 g/L R.S., 5.1 g/L T.A., & 3.41 pH;

    N: Closed; Cherris slightly atop vanilla

    P: Med body; RNDISH entry with NICE, almost swtish frt met by astringent pucker which evolves into a LONG, very, VERY slightly puckerish finish which is ULT pleasant! My EXC-/EXC, the higher arguably for QPR. '19 Contest results: Gold (93 pts) from S.D. Int'l Challenge @ $12.99, & Silver @ Winemaker's Challenge.

    January 7, 2019 - The wine looks ruby colored with fast legs and no sediment. It has a weak nose of blackberry and black currant. It tastes like black currant, blackberry and cherry but the wine is confused with a course texture and little body or structure. I gave it a neutral on "like of dislike," but think I'm being kind. It has a medium finish with more acidity than I would like. Did not have much of the wonderful flavors you expect from a Sangiovese, Tuscan wine. May improve with time, but doubt it.
