March 12, 2022 - Defied 13 white burg expectation, which can be green / flabby. Rather timid reductive aromatics, but live up to the haute densité name with its viscous and bottomless palate. Remarkably persistent and refine. Can reach new height in time, albeit only 300 bottles made.

May 15, 2020 - Blinded Covid style. Been wanting to try this for a long time. Thanks for @clayfu.wines for providing the goodies. The wine is a bit of an enigma to me. Layers of pear, green apple, citrus fruit, with medium high acidity. The palate was lively and energetic, with a lovely streak of minerality. Initially it lacked a bit of weight in the mid palate, and I was surprised at the lack of oak/density in the wine. With air, it picked up some more weight, and gained in complexity. Overall it was very well balanced, and a treat to drink. There are 300 bottles of this made, so being able to try one was amazing.

March 21, 2020 - Apotheosis of Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet, a blend of earthy Chassagne-Montrachet and elegant Puligny-Montrachet. Straw yellow. Quite faint on the nose, though. The excitement is all on the palate where tensile well judged acidity meets poached Anjou pear, cinnamon, shiitake and turmeric in a unique and fascinating combination. Borderline austere but plenty of primary/secondary flavor. Medium full yet no sense of heaviness. Lightly oaked. Seems fully mature. My first Lamy and now I get the reverence.

March 5, 2020 - Zachy's La Paulee 2020; 3/5/2020-3/6/2020 (Le Bernardin Prive): Even denser, still too young. Great wine. 93-94+

July 30, 2018 - flat out stunning and the pinnacle of this vineyard. I’m really starting to enjoy how 2013 white burgs are coming around and this might be the best one I’ve had. Ultra Expressive nose of pear and lemon with a touch of flint. Perfectly balanced ripeness and acid on the palate. There’s a saturating weight on the mid palate that shows the power of the wine. It’s almost Batard like in its power. But the persistent and glowing finish is where this wine really shines, it builds into this wave of zest and acid that splashed through and envelopes every part of the palate. Wow level wine
