April 1, 2024 - Dark pink. It actually is showing a lot of maturity even though it was a 2021 disgorgement. Certainly not over the hill, but I'd say it's in a good drinking window right how. Strawberries and minerality for the win.
January 9, 2024 - Lovwly mousse and bright fresh flavors. Clean cut with great focus to it.
July 19, 2023 - Light red in color. Big bubbles. A wonderful food wine. Inspires laughter and conversation. Delicious.
July 6, 2023 - Return to Willamette; 7/2/2023-7/8/2023 (Portland & Willamette): Off the wine list at Newburgundian Bistro. This is a winery that we often visit and often because of the sparkling. One of the first in the valley to do it and always enjoyable. Bright and good acid and nice fruit. Not at the level of champagne but nowhere really is. This is a good balanced wine and a nice way to break up the day a bit.
November 24, 2022 - Adding a little weight with age, this is full bodied and becoming more of a food wine. Really enjoy this a lot.
July 31, 2022 - Still predominantly cherry notes, slightly more muted than past bottles, but overall, the wine feels more integrated. A simply a delightful brut rosé. I have four more bottles and I'm going to see how they do over time. This feels like it is not yet at peak.
I am going to purchase more of this vintage in my fall club shipment.
March 13, 2022 - Great aperitif before b-day dinner!!
February 27, 2022 - Enjoyed it!
October 19, 2021 - Light and fresh but also can stand up on its own with a meal or full-flavored cheeses and charcuterie meats. Drank at winery.
July 29, 2018 - IPNC Weekend 2018; 7/26/2018-8/2/2018 (Linfield College, McMinnville, OR): Drank a glass over brunch. I liked this, fairly fresh and lively, light ripe cherry, fairly refined with a touch of yeast and very clean across the palate.
