February 21, 2024 - It was fabulous after 70+ minutes of aeration. 15.5% ABV, seamless.
December 22, 2023 - not bad but increasingly these wines just don't do it for me.....too ripe for me
December 14, 2023 - Surprisingly more refined than the 2016 vintage.
October 24, 2021 - Serviceable, not terrible, not great. A little chalky, definitely needed some time in the glass, peppery, a little bit of the classic southern Rhône kirsch/earthy flavors, but lighter. Consistent with what I’ve had from this producer in the past.
March 12, 2021 - V dark red. Nose has airplane model glue, licorice and ripe dark fruit. Palate is a huge fruit bomb and the fruit borders on raisins. Glycerine feel hides the tannin until the finish. Over ripe . 15.5% says the label.
September 24, 2020 - Drinks really well young. Nice bright red fruits, a bit of spice, and very silky smooth.
September 21, 2019 - Medium bodied and loaded with ripe, sweet, juicy, red fruits, the silky textures and purity here really make the wine. The wine is supple and sensuous in texture. The wine was made blending 80% Grenache with 10% Mourvedre and 10% Syrah.
