October 10, 2020 - Absolutely fantastic. Opulent yellow fruit, vibrant acidity, with an underlying richness. A proof if anything that Albariño has a lot to offer.

Pale straw color.
Slightly reductive. Slight suggestions of underripe peach and maybe...white pepper?
Medium body, 12.5% alcohol, medium plus acid, medium bitterness. Leesy / malo-y midpalate texture.
Not aromatic enough for Albarino.
Slightly savory but not overtly vegetal.
Final call:
2018 Federspiel Gruner.
2017 alma d mar albarino.
Analysis: nice wine but not terpenic enough for a good example of albarino. -

July 8, 2019 - Albamar ofrece con este vino un perfil diferente, más gastronómico. La norma que es que los vinos lleven a cabo la maloláctica y que se crían con sus lías finas. 8 meses este 2017. Pajizo, con una ariz atractiva pero sin gran volumen, fruta blanca y matices cítrico con un fondo floral. En boca tiene buen ataque, untuoso pero con notable sensación de frescura. Amplio, con atractiva salinidad y bastante profundidad.
