February 25, 2024 - Light, golden yellow color. Fresh melon and apple fruit, a buttery note that rounds out the mid-palate, lots of zesty citrus at the end. Faint hint of spearmint aroma in the background. Lovely and refreshing. High toned acidity calls for food. Could age longer -- would be interesting to see how it holds up around 3-5 yrs more.

December 9, 2023 - Plenty of apple start-to-finish with touches of pear and lemon. Nicely bright for the vintage, easily holding well for several years going forward.

August 26, 2023 - Saturday hangout at Domaine (Chicago, IL): Relatively fat, but doesn't show the imbalance that you get in Côte de Beaune whites of the vintage. In fact, a bit of a lighter touch here, with pleasant minerality and sufficient acidity. Not super complex, just good drinking chardonnay.

November 16, 2022 - Rich apple and lemon throughout, easily with enough energy to keep this bright.

June 5, 2022 - (Mostly) Burgundy Dinner with Friends (Hughes House - Chicago IL): Bright apple and Meyer lemon with good enough weight, surprisingly bright for the '16 vintage. At a very good place now.
