May 11, 2022 - Bono, bono, bono. Etna, Etna, Etna al 100%. Prezzo assai onesto per un vino con uve coltivate a Passopisciaro, cosa che non guasta di certo. Ottimo.
December 29, 2021 - Liten utvikling siden forrige flaske- Fortsatt ung og gir ganske lite. Syrlig og tight, fast tanningrep. Minner litt om en ung nebbiolo i struktur. Venter 4 år til med neste flaske.
June 11, 2021 - Dark almost brownish color. Red-berry dominated on the nose. Earthy and mushroomy with a mineral core. Full bodied and elegant. Intense acidity and still some tannic rawness. Will improve over the next couple of years.
February 27, 2021 - Medium ruby in the glass. Still tight on the nose, but you can see that there are layers to peel off here in the years to come. The texture of this wine is just mesmerizing - feels very rich and is complemented by some firm, but unripe tannins. Acidity is high, alcohol is almost on the same level. Definitely needs some integration. Wait for a year or two more if you really want to enjoy it.
January 17, 2021 - Short notes - the nose showed touches of smoke floating around dark berries, cherries, spice and earth. The palate was decently structure LD, with fine firm tannins and a bright steak of acidity running through notes of black cherries and dark berries, leading into a finish off earth and smoky spice. A bit of chew from tannins at the end gave this a bit of bite. Still too young, but this is pretty good, and will get better

Nice nose. Palate unexpectedly short.
August 17, 2020 - Even after 2 hours in decanter, the wine was still holding back. Good, with notions of very good, but it's going to need another year or two of rest, perhaps more. Good+ balance, vg purity and extra marks for the graceful finish. Solid value. recommended+
