September 9, 2020 - Really enjoying these co-ferments…love how wineries are ‘breaking the rules’ to produce unique blends! (I think there are traces of Cab Sauv & PV here) Tasted beside a Piedra Negra Reserve…2nd place is not bad. 😊
Inky, rich & oh so enticingly perfumed, expect layers of wild herb & Asian spice alongside succulent dark berry fruit – all framed by subtle vanilla oak. A rare combination of power & elegance.
Note: decant 75 minutes or let it rest 2-3 years.
Update: On Day 2, the thinness has disappeared, and the wine has filled in a bit more - very pleasant.
