May 30, 2022 - A nice wine of red and black berries (on nose and palate) after short decant. It is OK now, but has the bones to be better with a few more years of cellaring. Lingers a little on the finish. Paired with a BBQ on Memorial Day.
January 9, 2022 - Nice wine in a good place. Cedar and smoke aromas. Medium+ body with a good mix of acidity and tannins, red and dark fruits. Went well with herb rubbed center cut filet dinner.
August 14, 2020 - This wine is GREAT. I really like wines that have some wood...a beautiful bouquet, fantastic taste, smooth finish.

May 11, 2019 - Tasting: Duckhorn Vineyards (Duckhorn Vineyards): Notes of dark fruit, wood smoke, spice, plum, cassis and coffee. Full-bodied and structured, with firm tannins and flavors of coffee, black currant, spice and plum. Needs time, but is impressive in its youth.
March 16, 2019 - Good bold cab great AM slight pepper
February 16, 2019 - Maple currents with hints of liquorice and an essence of toffee. Much to be developed during after the 2+ hour range. Don’t need to even touch it until after that point. Obviously young. But delightful once it opened up.
