August 23, 2021 - My favorite of the Rosenblum Zins. Medium ruby, still youthful. Needs an hour decant. Beautiful nose with blue fruits, bramble, and toasty, somewhat smoky oak. Look for Botticelli Vineyard Zins-a top notch site in Rockpile. Nicely balanced flavors that integrate the acidity and fruit with just the right spice. Low tannins. ( My experience is that you must pay $40 to avoid the jamminess that plagues many Zins.) A complex, balanced, medium finish.
