January 2, 2021 - Killer wine to ring in 2021. Opened about 6 hours prior to dinner, decanted the last 2. Big fruit, but balanced by a good amount of acid. All around great wine

March 1, 2019 - This is the best GIII from Fairchild I have had, and really it was as good or better than two of three Stones wines had alongside. It is the most plush, sexy and fun wine in the Fairchild lineup, but this year it also seems to have a more serious side that will serve it well over time.
Black cherries, blueberries and spring flowers just explode from the glass. Super rich, decadent and concentrated dark red and blue fruit cascade in waves over the pallet. The tannins are quite strong but wonderfully integrated. Showing quite a lot of backbone, this is super pure, fresh and seamless. It doesn't quite have the overall complexity of the Stones 3, but the flavor profile is right up there with it. Long and really satisfying finish.5 people found this helpful Comment
