    March 29, 2014 - Purchased in 2003.

Color: very dark purple with brick red and light brown edge. When pouring, the bubbles were an intense purple.

Nose: Sweet fruits, especially cherry, and spice, nutmeg. Aromas of Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir. Occasionally smelled alcohol.

Body and flavor: full bodied. Rounded complex flavors with noticeable sweetness. No tannins apparent.

Aftertaste: long lingering. A bit hot with the alcohol.

Went very well with local lamb sausages and roasted vegetables! Given other tasting notes from a few years ago, the wine did not reflect the deficits previously noticed.

May 18, 2011 - Still has some life. Showing fruit and some weight

May 6, 2011 - Nice enough wine. Bit of a bite at the end. Big fruit of Currant, still showing some oak and coffee. Not agreeing with the window. This still has a few years left.

October 16, 2010 - Typical OReilly...big fruit...but had mellowed with age and was drinking well. Also sat on my counter for two nights and drank well throughout.

April 15, 2010 - No real reason to let this one hang around in your cellar. Thought age did it a disservice if anything.
