February 16, 2023 - "Deep Italian'" Wine Dinner (New Jersey): Brought to a tasting event and tasted with an arugula, radicchio, fennel and mango salad topped with tarragon sauced crab. The wine has a bright medium yellow, very youthful color. Great texture for Verdicchio, good depth and a pleasant long aftertaste. Orchard and tropical fruit oriented with nice mineral notes. Well stored, this will continue to improve in my opinion for at least another 5 years or so.

June 12, 2021 - This is a very subtlety delicious bottle of wine that needs some careful introspection. It has a nice crisp light golden yellow color with a subtle nose and palate of tarragon, lemongrass, pear and green papaya. Bright with acidity and finishes with herbs and minerals. Nice density and texture. Good with any seafood but best with shellfish/mussels/ clams…Very vibrant and downright exuberant though a trifle less complex than the 2 Pouilly-Fuisse’s we also had this evening.

February 4, 2021 - Crisp, slight acidity, a little dry & fruity. Just very clean & enjoyable. Must buy more

August 9, 2020 - Shockingly good Verdicchio! Bright acidity (though by Verdicchio standards somewhat modest), huge minerality (crushed seashells?), but also layers of stone fruit, citrus and tropical fruit. Really quite complex but what was most impressive was the mouth feel, almost Riesling like Or fine Chardonnay like texture. Mouth coating yet crisp. Chewy but not fat. Had it with some spicy Asian food and it was a perfect compliment. Great QPR!
