February 4, 2021 - Crisp, slight acidity, a little dry & fruity. Just very clean & enjoyable. Must buy more
August 9, 2020 - Shockingly good Verdicchio! Bright acidity (though by Verdicchio standards somewhat modest), huge minerality (crushed seashells?), but also layers of stone fruit, citrus and tropical fruit. Really quite complex but what was most impressive was the mouth feel, almost Riesling like Or fine Chardonnay like texture. Mouth coating yet crisp. Chewy but not fat. Had it with some spicy Asian food and it was a perfect compliment. Great QPR!
May 19, 2020 - We're making a quick stop in Marche to sip this lovely Verdicchio before continuing on to Tuscany. Bright, lemon yellow in the glass. Fresh and well balanced. A perfect compliment to grilled fish. Undertones of minerality dominate. Subdued fruit -- singularly sour lemons.
A long finish with a bit of weight. A sense of oak but no toast, which could lead one to confuse this Verdicchio for a Groth Sauvignon Blanc from Napa.
April 27, 2020 - Refreshing vibrant Italian wine that paired perfectly with Grilled trout flavored with Greek rub. Light body but nice mouthfeel with citrus notes.
August 15, 2019 - Awesome wine. Acidic but well-balanced; great body, heavier than expected. Flinty, flavors of green apples and citrus; also more complex than expected.
June 15, 2019 - Fuller body than expected. Some more complex sweetish notes with a bit of tang.
May 6, 2019 - Delightful; light, crisp with balanced acid; combination of citrus and minerality in flavor; nice complexity and finish.
April 17, 2019 - bought online Exel Wines UK for £14.25
Well chilled, popped and poured at home.
Attractive, interesting, Verdicchio with plenty of personality. Have liked this wine for years, and 2017 doesn't disappoint. Slightly commercial, but not in a boring way. Will buy again.
C....straw, looks med+ body.
N....not much, worryingly.
T.....bigger body in mouth than it looks in the glass; some attractive limestone earthiness; quince, almonds, lemon, dry summer herbs, apples, toasty oak, toffee; finishes med-dry; floury tannins; balancing acidity.
VFM....solid VFMoney, defo' buy again in reliable yrs.

June 6, 2018 - Indigena World Tour Day 3: The Marche (Il Buco Alimentari & Vineria, NYC): [Some of the grapes are vinified using cold-soak to "improve extraction of varietal character". Fermented in steel tanks controlled to 16-18°C for 10-15 days. No malolactic fermentation. Aged in steel for about 5 months in contact with its yeasts. Bottled at the end of April.] Huge sweet citrus nose. Soft up front, but has serious structure in the mid-palate and long finish. Just a beautiful, complex white wine.
