March 8, 2020 - Vacillating between off-putting and barely tolerable, the reductive nature of this wine dominated the fruit, body, and structure. In the glass (Grassl Mineralite) there were glimpses of very nice fruit and acids, but then the sulfur dominated. Despite. Decanting and variation in serving temperature predictably mitigated the reductive exposure, but not nearly enough. I was hoping for more accessibility from this village-level bottling.

February 28, 2020 - Very very meh. Did not improve with air or with food. Weird.

February 1, 2020 - As with the past few bottles I've opened this is showing great, reductive, zesty, clean, good acid and down right gulpable. Hard to beat for the price.

January 11, 2020 - Might be my last bottle - and that's a little sad, because this wine is more than just a "cellar defender". Lively acidity that really wakes up your palate, but even though I drink them young, I think this wine would be capable of some aging and further development if you had a mind to bury a bottle or two.

At least IMO, the kind of "house white" that merits a case buy.

December 21, 2019 - The nose here has a very light reductive note, but nothing like the X-novo I just drank.

More rounded and less focused than the first wine on the palate - this is a nice bottle to drink while you wait for the single vineyards to mature.

From a bottle opened last night.
