September 13, 2019 - Refreshing, makes you want more pinot--light and lithe, raspberry, spice, lingering finish.

July 13, 2019 - This was a very good effort. Combines old world profile with new world fruit. Medium weight combining red and dark fruit. Dark cherries with cherry pits. Some savory components. A bit riper and not as austere as prior Pinot efforts by LF. I liked it a great deal and think it has further time to integrate and improve. Lighter in weight and color but gains with air and time in glass.

July 8, 2019 - I didn’t know what to expect from a LF Pinot, but did someone say Volnay?? This is one for the Burgheads looking for old world leaning Cali Pinots. Lighter bodied, Crunchy red fruit, floating on top of base notes of black tea, musk and dried leaves. Good lift and energy, along with a bit of powdery tannin. Vibrant finish = more please. They’re known for their chards, but this was the standout of the line-up.
