April 15, 2024 - Clear almost medium garnet with bits. Med+ meniscus.
Nose is raspberry, black currant, blackberry and green herbs.
Palate is more powerful. Both red and dark fruits with raspberry leading the way. Cherry tobacco, baking spice and licorice.
Med+ length & complexity. Smooth & balanced. -

December 23, 2023 - Maybe didn't let it breathe enough...a little tight for me, but opened up by the end of the meal. Paired with braised duck legs and not as good as the petit verdot we had side by side with it

January 22, 2023 - I shared this with my wine group at a Turkish Restaurant. I found it very tannic, but once I had it with food, it was very good. A few of the group had it as their WOTN, or at least their 2nd favorite (out of 4 reds). Long finish, and full bodied.
