October 9, 2004 - Dark ruby red, little discernible change towards the rim. Earthy plum nose. Still pretty tannic at this point, good acidity. Predominant notes of red plums, some leather and earth, slightly herbal/beet overlay. Darker on the finish than on the mid-palate. Medium-long finish (good for this price).
