August 28, 2020 - Candied fruit, cherry cola, stems and spice on the nose. Good transparency on the palate which built layers and weight in the glass. Very delicate. Good but definitely not wow, especially when it was drank side by side with the beast- 2005 La Tache.

October 2, 2019 - Zachy's 2019/10 (Zuma): Ethereal nose packed of aromas. The signature dried flower of violet and primrose, some grilled meat, amazingly backward but afloat, with great bubbly tannin. Fragrant but delicate; truly excellent. 98

June 24, 2019 - Koehler-Ruprecht The best Dries and some add-ons; 6/23/2019-6/27/2019 (Neuhof am See): Not blind, drank it side by side with Roumier Bonnes Mares 2010
    half hour of decantation
The Chambertin started slowly. The nose was rough and unpleasant in the beginning but after one hour it is getting really delicious and juicy. Concentrated red berries with wild roses and violet. Some earthy notes. The wine will Need at least 5 more years or 3 hours of decantion. After two hours almost perfect and overtaking the Roumier in depth and length. 98+

May 30, 2019 - Jasper Rousseau Chambertin. Wow that’s heaven. Stem-like, exuberant, lifted, cola aromas. Polished sweetness emerges with right touch of austere. Obviously very youthful, but pure cherry fruit that's incredibly delineated. Finish goes on and on.

April 23, 2017 - First of all, the aromatics are off the charts. This wine is fruit filled, minerally elegance with a long balanced finish. I wish I had a lot more of this. I'll save my last bottle and drink it in ten years.

(Domaine Armand Rousseau Père et Fils Chambertin) Medium dark red color with pale meniscus; big, ripe cherry, baked cherry nose; wow, delicious, ripe and deep cherry and mineral palate with poise, young yet, of course; long finish

(Rousseau Armand Chambertin) Medium-plus colour. A deep and creamy nose with higher red berry tones and quite a bit of creamy oak - quite a modern impression. The palate is absolutely jam-packed with excellent acidity and just so much action. The finish is very, very long but the flavours are more barrel than fruit driven - even hints of coconut. The style of oaky presentation makes me think to Rousseau.

(Domaine Armand Rousseau Père et Fils Chambertin) Incense, sandalwood and dried red fruit nose; soft, gentle but layered strawberry palate with good acidity; medium-plus finish
